Hey all, I just came across a charter school conference in D.C. in a couple of weeks. Some of the panels look useful for our purposes, even though it is a pro-charter crowd. I've listed them below. There are panels on many of the issues we are curr…

Interesting article about school reform, KIPP, and Harlem Children's Zone

From a D.C. charter school founder: http://www.truthout.org/060209EDA

Charter school contacts in D.C?

Hi all,
I am Elaine from Columbia for those of you at the other "incubators."

Do you know anyone involved in the D.C. charter school system?--teacher, student, policymaker, administrator? am going there next week to try to meet as many people who have a stake in the growing charter school community there. Let me know!

Thanks, and here's to a wild spring and summer!
